Ambushes

The best defense is a good offense.

In order to advance to the next trails, a certain number of wagons must be destroyed globally. The main mechanic that leads to the destruction of a wagon is ambushing.

When a wagon is minted, a percentage of the mint fee is set aside as a reward to the player who ambushes it (further details in Prize Pool). The value was chosen as it should always be above the cost of the transaction within reasonable gas price ranges. However, if there is an extreme gas price spike, ambushing a wagon is justified because it contributes to eliminating competitors.

If a wagon gets ambushed, that means it was vulnerable. If it has any Extra Supplies with it, one of them will be consumed and the wagon will remain alive, losing its vulnerable status.

Every wagon has zero Extra Supplies when minted.
